YOUTH GROUP!
An EXTREME Makeover
Central Congregational Church Youth Ministry (C3YM);  has gone through some major renovations. The one time circle-sitting, Kum-bi-yah singing, feeling sharing session of the past has matured into a growing youth service, the Awakening Service, focused on Worship and Transparent Christian Growth. In this service youth are personally challenged to move courageously (2 Tim 1:6-7)  through a world as living examples of Christ in their families, schools and communities.

The Awakening is for grades 7-12th and  held at 6:30 until 8:00 at Central. The first service of the new school year will begin on Friday, September 24.

Parents of an EMERGING Youth Culture
Friday, September 17th at 6:30 PM

Every Generation has it's own language and styles of dress and music, the key is getting our youth to realize that someday their dress will be called "retro" and their music played on Classic Rock and Oldies Stations. When it's all said and done we realize it's not style or music that matters but the message. What are the youth of today saying?

I am inviting all parents of Youth in 7-12th grade to come to a Parents Service on Friday, September 17 at 6:30pm. This will be a night of walking through the Awakening Service, as if you were young again, a time to hear some of the ideas for topics and a chance to get to know Joel Christian, the brilliant and strikingly handsome youth director, in a deeper and scarier way. Come with your questions but be prepared to listen. This is open too all parents of Youth and any one of a Mature Status who would like to see what happens at the youth level.
